All bedrooms are adapted for the disabled, in terms of wide doorways, wide rooms etc; however, bedrooms are not adapted to wheelchair-bound persons although all the hotel doors are wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair. There are ramps to the hotel entrance and around the hotel and grounds. In the public areas there are also toilets adapted for the disabled.

Hotel Amenities
Le Méridien Penina Golf & Resort offers a wide range of sporting and leisure facilities that includes three golf courses, an 18-hole Championship Course, a 9-hole Academy Course, and a 9-hole Resort Course. There is a Golf Academy for golfers of all abilities, and Penina offers a five-day golf instruction programme. The resort also offers a driving range, practice holes and putting greens.
Start times on the golf courses can be pre-booked upon room reservation, subject to course availability. A handicap certificate of 28 is required for men and 36 for ladies on the Championship Course, and soft spikes are required to play on all courses.
Further sporting facilities include six floodlit tennis courts, five of which are hard-surface courts, and one Astro Turf court. Fees for tennis courts and lessons at the Tennis Academy are available at the hotel's resort reservations centre.
The FIFA-sized football field has been used by teams such as Chelsea from the UK and Borussia Dortmund from Germany for their winter training. There is also a three-kilometre jogging circuit with 12 exercise stations for individual and family runs, free for guests, a fully equipped gymnasium, also free of charge for guests, a full-size snooker table, free of charge for guests over 18 years of age, and mountain bikes that are available all year round for rides within the resort at a cost of €5.00 for two hours.
